Jimmy Fallon wasted no time Tuesday in skewering President Donald Trump. (Watch the video below.)

The “Tonight Show” host leaned on King Charles’ D.C. visit to make an incisive crack about the president right off the bat in his monologue.

“Today in Washington, King Charles made a historic address to a joint session of Congress,” Fallon said. “It was the first time a king addressed Congress since President Trump spoke at the State of the Union.”

The host waited for the joke to sink in before audience members began to cheer.

Critics say the president has overstepped his authority in waging war against Iran without congressional approval. He also appears to be distorting jurisprudence in his Justice Department’s new indictment of ex-FBI director James Comey, which some say is merely a revenge ploy against a perceived political enemy of the president.

Trump might be resorting to censorship as his FCC is reportedly poised to take action against Disney/ABC for an “expectant widow” joke Jimmy Kimmel made about Melania Trump days before an alleged assassination attempt against the president. The first couple called for Kimmel’s removal.

The latest round of the “No Kings” rallies against Trump took place nationwide last month. Organizers conveniently listed their grievances.

“Masked secret police terrorizing our communities. An illegal, catastrophic war putting us in danger and driving up our costs. Attacks on our freedom of speech, our civil rights, our freedom to vote. Costs pushing families to the brink,” reads the “No Kings” website. “Trump wants to rule over us as a tyrant.”
