Two men rescued after Knox County building collapse

Firefighters freed two men after a building collapsed in southeast Knox County on April 13. Rural Metro Fire and Knoxville Fire Department rescued two people on the 6000 block of Throne Grove Pike near Marbledale. Both people were taken to the hospital. One is in critical condition and was flown by helicopter. The other is in serious condition. The building collapsed just before 10 a.m., according to Rural Metro. The cause remains unclear.
