Read More Hope you’re ready to put the dance party playlists in the hands of your mini me I'm a Shopping editor (and mom to two toddlers) who covers a variety of topics, including helpful parenting/kids products, exciting gadgets, cozy products (think: home goods and fashions that'll make you want to snuggle), and any magical Disney item that crosses my path. My family has enjoyed the original Toniebox for years now, so it was a no-brainer to invest in the new iteration when it came out. This toy has bought me so much time and brought my toddlers tons of fun! My kids adore theirs — even though they're only 4 and 2 years old — they have no problem understanding how to turn the Toniebox 2 on, adjust the volume, and place different characters on top to tell various stories. It can also be used while it's charging, so there's no need to worry about your kid having a meltdown if they want to play with it while the battery is drained (phew). But if you *don't* want them to use it while it's plugged in (understood) that's a feature you can toggle on and off. The Toniebox 2 is essentially a tiny stereo that tykes can control all by themselves, simply by swapping out the character magnetically placed on top of it. Each individual figure tells a different story and sings a different song, and they are a great way to keep kids entertained without a screen. It also features an exciting built-in bedtime and wake-up function to help establish better sleep routines (fingers crossed). Get this bundle for $129.99 (typically $199.96; available in red or blue). Here's what some other fans have to say: BuzzFeed Shopping writer Mallory Mower: "The pictures above (right) is of my daughter and her Toniebox. She is nearly 3, and her favorite part is organizing and playing with all the little characters. Our entire family loves the Animal World collection — the theme song is a constant hum in our house." "We are already so impressed and obsessed with the Toniebox. It's such a good alternative to screen time. Although you have to pay for each individual Tonie if you don’t do a bundle like this, it gives your kid the freedom to choose what they’re listening to. Personally, I think it is well worth the money for all the benefits you get. My son is 17 months, and he caught on really quickly to how it works. It keeps him busy for longer than most of our other toys. Sound quality is great for anything that is preloaded or on the app." —Josh "This was a Christmas gift for my toddler. So far, she is OBSESSED. The learning curve was quite easy for her and has already provided hours of entertainment! The outer portion of the box is soft, which indicates it should be fairly durable for toddler use, and so far, the battery life seems great! Additionally, it seems to have great sound quality." —Chandra Cristelli Get this bundle for $129.99 (typically $209.96). My oldest loves the new Tonieplay feature, and we actually have this Winnie the Pooh game! It's super cute; it comes with a small picture book and the game board (which you just pop on top of the Toniebox 2 along with the controller). He listens carefully to the instructions from his favorite characters and flips through the book to help them find their missing items. It's great *and* it keeps him busy! Get this bundle for $139.99 (typically $199.96; on sale in two colors) and check out the other available games here. My 2-year-old daughter looooooves these Tonies! Her favorite, by far, is the cow. She's very into animal sounds, and the songs each one plays are really catchy, fun (and I've heard quite a few "toy" songs at this point). I personally love that these Tonies are squishy and soft, so when she launches them across the room (or at my head) nothing gets damaged (again, my head...she once threw Cookie Monster at me and I had a bruise for a week). The Toniebox 2 is actually my go-to first birthday gift, as it has been even before this second version with the baby-centric Tonies came out! Even though it was originally recommended for ages 3+, I always found that younger kids gravitated toward it and could easily navigate it. Psst: They're also offering a buy 4 Tonies get 1 free deal, so you can stock up on even more storytelling characters! I'll be adding Frog and Toad and Ms. Rachel to our collection immediately. —Quirky Things On Sale For Prime Day You Won’t Be Able To Resist —What Parents Should Actually Buy During Prime Day —Things You’ll Want To Splurge On During Prime Day —Things At Their Lowest-Ever Prices This Prime Day And check out our roundups of the best deals across a variety of categories, including home, beauty, food & kitchen, practical, under-$25, TikTok finds, and more.
