“If you’ve never cheated, I admire you, but I really don’t expect you to understand why I would do what I was doing to the love of my life...”

As a staff writer at BuzzFeed, I write about all things celeb, pop culture, and books.

In a statement, Hugh Hefner told Entertainment Tonight, "Over the course of my life, I've had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives, and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight. I guess, as the old saying goes: You can't win 'em all!"

Vinny told Us Weekly, "He could have probably left out a couple details. I was like, 'Is this necessary?' He just gave the juicy scoop of everything."

However, Vinny was ultimately supportive of his castmate's book. He said, "The book, I'm sure, is very helpful to people that are dealing with sobriety and stuff like that. One of the things that Mike said to me once that kind of didn't really click in my head is, 'Most people that go through that don't make it out to the other side.'"

During her promotional tour for the book, Demi spoke about the alleged threesomes and claimed that Ashton cheated on her. Seemingly in response, he tweeted, "I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet. Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it."

"On top of that, there was something intimidating about him. His face in repose looked closer to a scowl than any other expression. He looked like he didn't care whether or not you looked at him, so you watched him not caring, hungrily. I remember thinking, 'This guy's going to be a star. Not just a celebrity, a movie star.' He looked like one of those types, like Humphrey Bogart. Some sort of epic energy hung around him, and he was so far out of my league. Compared with him, I didn't even have a league. We were destined for different places. Was I bitter about this? Not so you'd notice," she said.

They kept their relationship a secret, so she only wrote about him in her journal.

She said, "There are some things I still consider private. Amazing, isn't it? But sex is private. So I put the kibosh on sharing what occurred between Mr. Ford and me on that fateful Friday night in May 1976, and on subsequent Fridays at ungodly hours."

Additionally, Carrie told the Guardian, "I told him I was writing the book, and I would give it to him, and if he didn't like anything in it, I would take it out, and he seemed surprised at that. Then I called him and said, 'I'm going to send it to you,' and I did, and I never heard from him.”

In 2017, Harrison briefly addressed the release of her memoir, telling GQ, "It was strange. For me...  You know, with Carrie's untimely passing, I don't really feel that it's a subject that I want to discuss."

Thirlby didn't respond to CNN's request for comment at the time.

Jack Nicholson hasn't publicly responded to Pamela's memoir.

Mickey was the first person to read Rebel's memoir.

A source told Entertainment Tonight, "Justin has been focusing on his own family and trying not to concern himself with Britney's memoir. In recent years, Justin has tried to be supportive of Britney from a distance. They dated so long ago, but he still has respect for her. Justin and Jessica [Biel, his wife] just want everyone to grow and evolve instead of continuing to bring up the past."

Justin's reps did not respond to BuzzFeed's request for comment.

Colin Farrell hasn't publicly responded to Britney's memoir.

Martin Scorsese has not publicly responded to Liza's memoir.

Mikhail Baryshnikov has not publicly responded to Liza's memoir.

So, Bonnie asked William to leave after a conversation with her therapist. However, he allegedly came back with his bags an hour later, yelling, "This is my apartment. My books are here. My records are here. If you want to split, then you leave!"

Bonnie laughed at how ridiculous he looked, then she went right back to reading. She wrote, "We never spoke of it again. During our almost 70 years together, Bill often speaks of our marriage as having been three or four marriages. This was the end of one of them. I said goodbye to my kinder and gentler man, and Bill and I moved on together."

In a joint interview, William told the Daily Mail, "I wouldn't be with anyone else in my life than this woman sitting next to me."

Eddie Cibrian hasn't publicly responded to Scheana's memoir.

Ione told Avenue magazine, "It was the '90s model era in New York. At the time, it was such a fun scene. I was just swept up. The L Word – that's what it felt like, but better. Alice said she wasn't out then. It is so interesting – people who didn't know they were gay but were totally living in gay life. Alice was thrilled, though. She was like, 'You made me seem so cool.'"

Jenny Shimizu, Alice Temple, and Ingrid Casares haven't publicly responded to Ione's memoir.

She wrote, "I waved to Adam. He didn't wave back, just turned and walked into the next room. I felt like throwing up in the pool… I couldn't speak. I felt as if I'd just witnessed a car crash, and Adam had been in the car. As if the world were ending. I was so, so afraid... [When she went inside] Adam said nothing. Just held me as I sobbed and dripped onto his shoulder."

Ione told People that she reached out to Adam about the memoir. She said, "I wrote to Adam. He's private, but also such a big part of my story, so he couldn't not be in it."

Adam Horovitz hasn't publicly responded to her claims.
