Fox News host Jesse Watters used some very grisly language Friday when he urged California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) to put former Vice President Kamala Harris “out of her misery” — and to “slit her throat” — when the 2028 elections come around.

Watters has made the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee a frequent target, calling her “not hot” and reportedly making a joke questioning her gender. His reaction on “The Five” was in response to a Wall Street Journal article about Newsom and Harris likely squaring off in 2028.

“You gotta take the gloves off,” he said. “If he starts dancing around ‘cause he doesn’t wanna offend Blacks or women, that’s not gonna cut it. The media’s already gonna say you’re ‘mansplaining’ and you’re being mean. You gotta slit her throat and then just watch her die.”

Watters continued, “She can’t perform. Put her out of her misery. You see, she can’t cut it. She had a shot. She’s from the past. We can’t do the Biden era anymore. As far as Hunter is concerned ... I wouldn’t call him presidential timber, but I like him.”

“Hunter” is Hunter Biden, the son of former President Joe Biden and a self-admitted addict.

Watters noted that Hunter Biden is currently experiencing “a little bit of a redemption arc,” having detailed his past substance abuse struggles on several podcasts in recent months after years of Trump and his administration portraying him as the defining image of political corruption.

“But just because he did drugs and now doesn’t do drugs doesn’t excuse the fact that he’s a jerk, OK?” Watters said Friday. “He’s still kind of a jerk, but he’s likable now. He’s actually pretty witty.”

The Wall Street Journal on Thursday described Newsom and Harris as “fellow Bay Area Democrats who insist they’re friends but don’t always act like it,” calling them “two cats circling” each other with every passing day ahead of the 2028 presidential election.

Watters hasn’t just torn into Harris in the past. He has also called Newsom a “woman trapped in a man’s body” and “a terrible governor.”
