In May 2024, Williams's name surfaced during proceedings in Trump's hush money trial, when she was listed as a person Trump "frequently spoke to" at the time. But when asked about it during a podcast interview a month later, she seemed to brush it off, saying, "I talk to a lot of presidents...I spoke to Barack, I spoke to the Clintons. I spoke to every president since I've been alive, including Ronald Reagan, I'll have you know."
