Mast-Jägermeister CEO Michael Volke hailed “a stand-out year” for the German distiller’s namesake liqueur after the privately owned business managed to grow revenue in 2025.

In 2024, the group’s net sales slumped more than 10% but today (3 March) the company said it had returned to growth in revenue terms last year.

Mast-Jägermeister generated revenue of €882m ($1.03bn) last year, up 1.8% on 2024.

The business did not disclose figures for its total sales volumes. However, it did report volumes of its namesake herbal liqueur rose more than 7% to 9.2 million nine-litre cases in 2025.

Sales of Jägermeister Orange, which the company launched last year, “contributed significantly to growth” with more than five million bottles sold.

“In a year in which many globally significant spirits markets recorded declines, we succeeded in strengthening our position. Our depletions, even reached record levels worldwide – an impressive testament to the strength of our brand. Jägermeister Orange has already exceeded our expectations," CEO Michael Volke said.

Mast-Jägermeister did not issue publish profit figures for 2025 and told Just Drinks it does not do so “as a privately owned company”.

The volume sales of Teremana Tequila, in which Mast-Jägermeister is a shareholder, fell from 1.1 million nine-litre cases in 2024 to one million last year. The group pointed to “significant category headwinds and continued inventory reduction” in the US.

Looking ahead, Volke added: “We do not expect any tailwinds from international markets in 2026 and therefore maintain a cautious outlook. Nevertheless, the strong performance of our brands and our clear focus on consumers, innovation and operational excellence support our confidence that moderate growth is achievable.”
