AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — A $20 lottery ticket paid off in a big way for an Akron woman.

According to Ohio Lottery officials, the woman purchased a $20 Bonus Play Millions Scratch-Off from the Circle K located at 2767 Albrecht Ave. in Akron.

She won the jackpot prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years, or $1 million.

The woman chose to take the cash option of $500,000. After state and federal taxes she will take home $366,250.

As of Feb. 25, 2026, there is one top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years remaining.
